[He's used to Oria not changing while he's around, so he lingers near the end of the hall while he waits for Oria to be done. He might as well check some of his messages...

[ Oria changes quickly so that Sinclair doesn't wait too long. After he catches up, he sees Sinclair staring at his phone. ]

What's up? Got anything worrying?

Nothing worrying. Some classmates were being weird.

[That sure is a bombardment of messages in a class group chat about Oria he refuses to answer. He doesn't even mark it as read, and closes out of the chat, in time for a private message to come his way: hey, emil, there's this girl in the next class over that wants to know if you're free on the weekend.

Weird question. Beatrice was coming back to the country on the weekend, so he really wasn't and says as much.]

[ Oria, for one, is glad that Sinclair has social groups for him to chat with. He figures that it's none of his business, so he just shrugs it off. ]

Anyway, five deluxe burgers are waiting to be devoured! Let's go!

[ Oria now zoooooms with Sinclair in tow, holding hands like it's normal. (It's normal, right?) ]

[It's definitely normal. Sinclair yelps a little and laughs, as he jogs a little to keep up]

What happened to make it go from three to five?

[Absolutely nothing weird about holding Oria's hand. He's happy to hang on regardless]

So I'm gonna eat seven burgers.

I don't understand where you put all that food sometimes. [Did Oria even have any sport classes? It's not like beating up bullies took up that much of Oria's time. There's a few classmates of theirs who are not being subtle with their staring as they walk up hand in hand to the coutner]

[ Oria sometimes does is parkour skating hobby elsewhere if not on campus. He definitely doesn't do it to show off, even though that's definitely a byproduct that's happening. ]

In my stomach, duh.

[ Though it's not like he talks about it and he goes out often, whether with other people or alone. Not to mention those meetings...

Then he turns to the staring bystanders. ]

Hey, if you're gonna stare more, I'm gonna start charging you!

[Sinclair knows about Oria's (terrifying gravity defying) hobby, but--

Sinclair covers his face with one hand, and promptly starts dragging Oria off]

Now they'll stare even more. [The bystanders are whispering now, some of them giggling, some of them deeply disappointed. Weird??? Whatever, Sinclair was used to this now. He places his order at the counter - one burger, fries and a drink. Not the most healthy thing, but once in awhile wasn't bad]

[ Honestly though, compared to what Oria eats, it might as well be healthy. He orders ten deluxe burgers (yeah), and a regular sized drink (surprisingly) and goes to sit at a table with Sinclair. ]

Beatrice is coming over, right? When was it again?

He sits down with his food, watching with trepidation at the burger stack]

Saturday. She'll be coming over around 10, assuming her flight arrives on time on Friday.

Hmm. [Sinclair is still working on his one and only burger...] I was thinking of lunch somewhere...but I was having a hard time thinking of ideas. It'll be her first time in the city too.

If she likes teacakes, I recommend the cafe over by the park. They got some new matcha stuff out recently. That metro diner got some new selections got lunch too and I heard it was tasty while giving you a good portion of food. They're having a dog therapy session in that park I just mentioned on that day too, so if she likes dogs a lot, she can play with them too.

Mm. The cafe at the park sounds good. We haven't had a dog since Aitla.
