[ Unfortunately for Sinclair, Oria seems a little keen on noticing hidden cameras and whatnot. He really doesn't like photos nor videos taken without permission. ]
I'm sure you'll take a bunch in the festival though. Instead of just a single cat, there will be tons of other things too!
[ Sinclair laughs, getting up as the waiter clears their table. He's sure to thank the waiter, as they leave, knowing Beatrice had already arranged a tip too; that was also the kind of person she was]
Beatrice really did cover everything... you don't suppose this was all a ruse to get us to spend time with each other, is it? We spend plenty of time together already.
[ Thinking back to Beatrice's teasing. Oh there's that blush again. But he'll stubbornly hang onto Oria's hand, trying to keep close. He might have to keep closer if they don't want lose each other]
Ummm. Sometimes she gets ideas she won't let go of.
[ Emil, be brave and make him yours. Or you'll get eaten up by your own feelings before you know it. He thinks about what Beatrice had whispered in his ear.
[Sinclair wishes Beatrice wouldn't make his life harder too. He presses closer when he gets jostled a little by the crowd, kind of clinging so he wont get lost] The tent should be for the acrobats, right?
[He sees a few games and other stalls--maybe after the performances]
[ It's an animal-free circus too, so he wonders how much dedication goes into this. He carefully leads Sinclair into the tent and breathes out a sigh of relief when they finally grab some seats on the rising benches. ]
Phew... I guess it's to be expected of such a festival, but there really are so many people here.
[ The introduction of the circus and its troupe is told and then the opening act starts. There is a clown that's driving some sort of vehicle that looks like a plastic toy car that toddlers get inside of. They pick up one clown, which is normal but then they pick up two more. How do they fit in the small car? It's even more amazing when three more clowns get in. Oria squints. How tf... ]
[ How indeed. Sinclair is riveted, leaning forward a little as if that much would tell him how they all got in. The clown car goes cycling around the arena to everyone's cheers and then one by one they get out again to do some juggling]
[ They're so talented. Oria wonders if they're part octopus to fit in that small car... either way, he's amazed. He sees the items that they're juggling being passed around midair, and there's something like a chaotic vibe, yet so organized with how many things are in the air. ]
[Sinclair can't help but get drawn into the energy of the crowd as the clowns begin to balance on each other on top of a small unicycle. One. Two. Three. And off they go, back stage again as the lights dim once more.
Then there's a drum roll, and the spot lights appear again, focusing on the roof]
[ Oria looks up to see the tightrope walker. They walk halfway across, before dropping and catching themselves to balance on the tightrope again after flipping around the rope. Oria is so much in awe, wondering just how much upper body strength they have to pull that off along with a great sense of balance... ]
[That's too cool...! Sinclair cheers with the crowd as the tightrope walker swings themselves around a few times before right themselves upwards. He can definitely see why everyone had come today.]
[ Oria wishes he could do that, but that sounds like a distant dream... balancing on a tightrope is already a big obstacle to overcome in the first place.
Next, the acrobats are moving from sky high swing to swing, passing people along, them doing flips on the other person while still swinging... the whole nine yards. Oria thought that they would miss catching someone once, but thankfully, the crisis has been averted. ]
[The trapeze performance shifts into shimmering silks that drop down to the ground and more performers join the act. The music shifts into something slower, more intense as they climb their way up, twisting and dancing with the silks.
[ After that, the show ends with a graceful finish. Oria blinks, cleans his glasses for a moment and then looks at Sinclair after putting them back on. ]
Is this what a circus is like nowadays? That was so cool. I thought there would be more clowns.

I don't know what you mean. I never take enough photos.
[Or he'd have more cute photos of Oria locked away in secret...]

Mm, probably. I wonder how big it'll actually be...
[He mostly wants photos with Oria though...]

[ He wonders if Sinclair would take video too, but that would take up so much space in his phone...
Oria reaches over the table to get Sinclair's uneaten food. Can he take these... ]
no subject
I didn't think there would be such a big festival so close though.
no subject
[ Oria won't fall for that though. He takes up the leftover food and practically vacuums them into the mouth that they call the black hole. ]
I am now done, so let's go!

Except. It wasn't really just about that, right?]

[ Oria definitely feels like he has a very good idea of it from how Sinclair blushes. Beatrice... please don't make his life harder.
He gives a squeeze to Sinclair's hand whenever it looks like they're about to separate due to the crowd. ]

I guess everyone really wanted to see the show today.

Oria tries to seem calm with this. It's fine. This doesn't mean anything. Yeah. ]
It's popular for a reason then! Can't wait to see it.

[But looking at the program]
Oh, it looks like the fire breathing and sword dancing will be outside.
