(it did give a sort of air that clashes with her hat, refined yet not. although the more boyish looks from her hair being undone does suit vertin; how it can make her look more handsome while she lays there. she's quiet again and finds herself cracking a small smile no matter the briefness such a thing would have. actual smiles would always be rarer, rarer and more so were it to not carry in them a sort of melancholy no matter the way it makes her eyes near seem more alive. she can agree with schneider on that point, knowing that while her hand warm as ever caresses her cheek.
