(soft breaths and vertin perhaps nuzzling closely into schneider might say enough on how well she slept. her arm is still draped over schneider and tracing gentle patterns into her ribs; the motion is thoughtful as if attempting to articulate knowing vertin's penchant for keeping quiet. another sign of affection, another moment of it given and granted freely while they lay together. it isn't a dream as they both had thought. it is in fact, their new reality while those normally tired eyes of hers seems relieved.
normally vertin would hide it better, try to that is. knowing how much she's lost there's never been any other way but to accept she might never be allowed this closeness. this tender care that she carries underneath the tragedies and her own suffering. the skin-ship which she gives whenever vertin after this brief pause sighs softly. she's content, she did sleep well surprisingly.)

(she slept in full and that was the biggest surprise. she did have night owl tendencies; a result of her almost unending stamina and her pushing herself well past whenever she ought to as a child her age. though that comes as no surprise in both instances knowing vertin was always that sort of girl whenever it comes to such matters.
and whenever it came to schneider now. now vertin might use her late night habits as an excuse for more quieter time between them when some manner of problem doesn't require the timekeeper's attention. or whenever she doesn't need to do paperwork, again.)
