(ah. vertin walked right into that one, were she to have her hat in hand she might have pulled it down to hide the way her freckled cheeks flush bright red in response to that teasing. from how close they are, schneider will be able to see that and the way that the young timekeeper attempts to hide that. a pity it fails either way, maybe not for schneider who might enjoy teasing her more than ever. especially whenever vertin flushes such a lovely shade of pink.
as amusing as the idea is for her to be drawn to bed by this means, it might also come with other things. like the two of them looking as though an animal had marked one another up causing lilya to potentially laugh as sonetto would sputter out an attempt at speaking. more than likely failing more than vertin is with retorting to that.)
I-I....suppose that's one way? Although I wouldn't doubt that you could lure me to sleep in any means.
(dear god, she is so red that it must be a treat.)
Oh? I'm glad you are aware, my lord. I've very talented at that.
[Schneider washes up in the shower, scrubbing herself clean, lingering on the marks on her skin. Alive. She's alive. It still fills her with wonder. She wraps a towel around herself and goes to find her dress. That dress.]
(once schneider is done with her own shower, it's vertin's turn to look over the marks along her skin. albeit with her getting flustered at remembering. if only to spare them both from getting distracted heavily; any other times might be different and it's not as though she minds. the timekeeper can afford to indulge together with schneider were she to wish that. for the time being vertin is still surprised herself. she did leave the dress and schneider's jacket out in her wardrobe in plain view, the door opened up and everything to show an assortment of similar suits and pajama's that vertin typically wore as well. it's not as though she also minds were schneider to decide something from her wardrobe was enough to strike her fancy.
it gave her more than enough time to relax, to stop blushing and get dressed herself after coming out from the bathroom. her usual suit, sans the jacket and hat since that was left hung up while giving schneider a pleasant view of her dressed up dapper as usual. although she doesn't have her hair tied up yet, either. not right now. vertin did need to get one of her hair ties first once she adjusts her tie beneath her vest.)
I believe that I may still have your guns after all, somewhere, since I am prone to keeping anything whenever possible....
(hoarding tendencies can be useful, sometimes, although vertin does need to go through everything she kept. the rosary should be there with schneider's dress, unless the guns were there as well knowing that she hadn't quite had time to remind herself of things she lost track of from her reluctant seven week coma. it would spare them having to request the guns being rebuilt if they did find them; perhaps knock off another thing that constantine could scrutinize. playing chess with that woman is difficult but not impossible from what madam z had taught vertin in her efforts to help rescue the timekeeper.
the thought aside, she's going over in her head where else they can check. she did have all the amenities that a regular home should have in her suitcase. kitchen, bath, dining room, the list can go on. it's just a matter of going through the rooms while figuring out where she kept everything were she to be wrong.)
That's useful. [ Schneider perks up, as she dries her hair. Those were precious to her after all. Little ways she had carved out an identity for herself]
I will need my guns if the Foundation would like me to run pigeon hunts for them.

Mmm? So it takes me wearing you out all night for you to rest?
[Her lips curve up in amusement]

[ Is she joking or not?]
