[Hey. Sinclair makes a noise of confusion at that gesture, trying not to fluster. This wasn't Oria]

...I guess not. But do you want a name? I can't call you Oria... that's not right.

I haven't really thought about it. Feel free to call me whatever you want.

[ Though the tone seems to imply that he has the right to veto whatever suggestion he doesn't like despite what he said. ]

You don't like what I did.

[ His tone is flat, but it's phrased like a question. ]

Oh, um...let me think...

[ That person he had seen... they really liked the fight, huh? Hm...even as he thinks of a name, his mind goes to the fiasco]

... I don't think what you did was wrong. But it wasn't good for you... either of you.

[dissimulative]

... I didn't want to do it, but I had to. Oria struck first, then he couldn't handle the taser gun. We share a body, but he's surprisingly fragile for someone who's supposed to be tough.

[ He sighs. ]

It still hurts though. How far is the place?

[ Sinclair knows how much tasers hurt. It's why he was surprised when Oria got up and kept going]

...Oria can be a little hot-headed too. [ pot kettle etc] It's not far. Just another hallway.

[ He makes a small affirming sound and goes back to being quiet. It's still difficult to control his limbs and muscle spasms so he twitches here and there while on the piggyback.

Right before going in: ]

Is he going to be detained?

[ Sinclair wishes he could be more helpful. Maybe if he had focused on his studies, becoming stronger, anything...

He already knows it's all useless wishful thinking. Even if he had been smarter, more capable, he was restrained by one simple fact:

He and Oria were not adults.]

[He gently sets Oria down in the bed, as a young nurse with fluffy pink hair runs up to them in alarm. What happened? Oh, he definitely needed some ice packs, along with something for the pain. Oh no]

[ He glances over at the nurse and then back at Sinclair. ]

"I feel like a fried chicken"... is something he would say right now. Maybe. Being numb and in pain at the same time is a really strange feeling. I don't like it.

But aren't you in a rotte with him? What will you do without him?

[insinning]

[Ahaha... Sinclair smiles a little at the thought, only for it to fade away again]

...I...I don't know. [He fidgets a little twiddling with his thumbs as the nurse gets the icepacks out and makes "Oria" lie down so she can spread it around to his limbs once he's taken his medicine]

They might keep him long enough to send him out with the rest of us. Or they'll send me out on my own since I'm their special "weapon."

[ He closes his eyes for a while as if exasperated, but it's still a muted expression. He opens his mouth, about to say something but— ]

[ It's as if Oria suddenly comes to life with his fresh emotions of anger. ]

[ Oria shrieks, freezing up and tense. ]

Cold!! That's cold!!!! How come I'm feeling the cold but I don't feel anything else?!

Miss Binari said it's really important to keep your muscles iced for a bit after being hit by a taser.

[Oria, please. You're in the medical bay.]

[dissimulative]

[ Freaking medbay. Oria huffs as he tries to calm down but he can't! It's too cold!! He doesn't like it!! Weh!! It's weird when he can't feel his muscles tense but he can feel how cold it is. ]

Anyway, no going off on your own. I know what you're gonna do if you do, and I won't have that.

[ Mister Ticking Time Bomb. ]

[insinning]

I'd...be careful.

[Sinclair glances around and takes one of the ice packs away, wraps it in a pillow case he takes off a nearby pillow and gives it back to Oria. Any better?]

...though you'd be safer here, you know.

[dissimulative]

[ Oria crosses his arms, making the ice packs slide off and looks at Sinclair with a frown.

No. ]

[insinning]

[Ah. He ducks his head sheepishly]

...sorry. I wont do anything like that. I promise.

[dissimulative]

You really think I'd even consider the option of staying here while you go out by yourself? Fuck no.

[ He doesn't care about this nurse being here. That's how much he feels strongly about it. ]

[insinning]

No, but, if you stayed injured...

[The nurse is just chilling. This is hardly the worst she's ever heard. Put the icepacks back on :T]

[ This is where Oria gives Sinclair a stern staredown because there is nothing in the world that will prevent him from going to battle by Sinclair's side. He will do absolutely everything in his power to do so, even if it means escaping the medbay and stealing a Gauntlet somehow. He would be more reasonable if he was told to rest until the fight day comes, but this? No. No compromise.

Anyway, he doesn't say anything. The stare is all Sinclair gets. ]

[insinning]

[ Sinclair hangs his head a little, but reaches out to take Oria's hand]

...I know. I'm sorry. I won't do it.

[dissimulative]

Damn right you won't.

[ He huffs and squeezes the hand, even though there's a twitch. Must be the aftershock. ]

... As long as you don't go off anywhere, I'll be here to recover.

[insinning]

I'll stay right put. [Because he's worried about Oria way too much to go far. His brow furrows at the way Oria's hand twitches]

...they really didn't need to do that to you.

[dissimulative]

[ Oria shrugs as much as he can with everything happening. ]

But they did, and nothing can change that except propoganda.

[ He's joking, so he must be fine. ]
