POST CANON TRIPS WITH FLYNN: For bravestknight
[The world after Blastia was never going to be an easy one, of course. They had all committed to it, knowing very well there would be people cursing their names, with bitter hatred and spite. Even with the combined efforts of the whole world working together - Empire, Guilds and Aspio alike - there would be people who were angry.
And willing to use whatever they could to get back at the Empire and Guilds. Including Giganto monsters, apparently. Yuri shifts on his feet, sword at the ready as he watches the movements of the guards in the valley below. Somehow, this rogue group had managed to capture a Giganto to launch against Dahngrest and Zaphias. Whatever was the first target didn't matter.
Yuri and the rest of Brave Vesperia were here to stop it. And apparently, so was the Flynn brigade. He glances over at Flynn]
The Empire must be feeling really antsy about this if they've sent the Commandant himself to help deal with this group.
[A few years ago, there might have been barbed edges in there. But now, it was just warm amusement at the absurdity of it all. He should have known Flynn wouldn't be content to sit behind his desk while sending out his best knights to deal with this]
What were they calling themselves again?

[Anyway, so Flynn doesn't get any ideas to tease him with, Yuri nudges Flynn lightly and points ]
Judy and the boss should be back there, waiting for us. I think they bad a fun time raiding those labs.
no subject
[He still going to tease him. He looks at Yuri and nods as he turns going that way.]
Let's go meet them and make sure that everything is completely wrapped up.
no subject
[Time to cut themselves off though. There are some jokes that are not meant for Karol's innocent ears. Yuri nods, waving them over as he drags along their prisoners to an excited looking Karol. It looked like Judy and Karol had a lot more excitement than them, judging by the monsters everywhere]
We've got prisoners for delivery. Your next command, boss?
["Yuri! Flynn! You did it!" Karol grins, then straightens up, coughing as he tries to summon some boss-like energy. "Um. I guess they can go on the ship. I don't think Judy and Ba'ul would mind...Harry Whitehorse said we just need to deliver them to the cells and Altosk would take it from there."]
no subject
So, let's go back to Dhangrest. I'll send a report back to His Highness Ioder when we arrive.
no subject
[ Is Yuri a little pouty they missed out on a good fight? Maybe. He waves Flynn to follow as he drags the prisoners onto the ship, tying them to the pole and settling in for what would be a very quick ride back.]
no subject
[Flynn plans on staying with him anyway. He brushes past Yuri and gives him a meaningful, small tender smile as he goes to check on the prisoners and get them settled.]
no subject
[ Not much has changed at all. They needed to be at the center of guilds so new recruits could find them and missions could be picked up easily]
no subject
So, I can share your room?
[He lowers his voice so only Yuri can hear.]
--and your bed?
no subject
Hm. If you're not going to complain about the tight fit...there might be room.
no subject
[Flynn tangles their fingers together and holds his hand quietly as they fall into a nice simple, comfortable, silence.]
no subject
[ It's quiet and comfortable as they fly over the city of the guilds, landing just at the outskirts. He sighs, forcing himself to move away from Flynn as Ba'ul descends. They'll have time later, Yuri tells himself]
See you in a bit? We'll drop off the prisoners, then get back around to our headquarters.
no subject
[After all, this had been partially an excuse to take some time off and spend time with Yuri. Ioder had given him a knowing look when he left, and he knew he at least had to send an update.
Thankfully, because the knights and guilds were getting along a little better it was easier for Flynn to find a small group of knights. Seeing the commandant, they had been more than eager to give him their small outpost there to write a letter and one of the men to deliver it.]
That went deceptively easy.
[It was time to go see Yuri.]
no subject
He can whip up something nice for all of them]
no subject
Yuri?
no subject
In here--hope you don't mind some Beef Stew for dinner.
[Like Yuri didn't already know this was one of Flynn's favourites]
no subject
I definitely don't mind Beef Stew for dinner.
[No one aside from them and Repede are there, so he quietly steps in close behind Yuri, wrapping his arms around his waist, lifting his hair with his right hand and kissing the side of his neck. He does that only for a few moments before he steps away.]
I told you I'd be here quickly.
no subject
Yeah, I know. You always keep your promises.
[He fetches a clean spoon from the drawers, dips it into the pot and holds it out for Flynn to try]
What do you think?
no subject
It get's better every time you make it.
no subject
You're always like this. Go take a seat. I'm nearly done.
no subject
Sounds great. Are the others joining or did they go out and do other missions?
no subject
[And Yuri was...just not very good at this kind of paperwork so he'll let the boss deal with that one. He pours some of the beef stew into three bowls, covering one up for later and he sets two of them down - one in front of Flynn and one just to the side of him. There's still some fresh bread so he sets that down with the food to share as well]
Judy is off on her own. She's probably going to make every casino cry and fold at this point.
no subject
[Flynn goes about separating the bread for them to share and making sure to leave some for Karol. He smiled at Yuri and nodded as he relaxed and waited for Yuri to sit down before starting to eat.]
So, does that mean we have fewer people to hear us?
no subject
[His gaze becomes a little heated as he meets Flynn's gaze. Yuri grins, dipping the bread into the stew as he takes a bite. ]
Hm. Are you planning on getting loud for me?
no subject
[When Yuri asks that, Flynn had been taking a bite of stew, and he nearly chokes, coughing. His cheeks flush and he looks at Yuri.]
I think you want to kill me.
no subject
I thought we were just sharing things we planned on after dinner.
