[This is so embarrassing...yet Sinclair feels too sluggish and achey to protest it]

I could shower myself you know...

[And then ruin it by sweating with his fever, and maybe fall over but. Still. He still lets Oria take his shirt off]

[ Oria takes Sinclair's shirt off and quickly wipes him down and puts the new shirt over him. He does the same with his pants. ]

All done! Naptime.

[ Sinclair lays down, defeated and blushing. Mumble mumble]

You really took the nursing part seriously...

[aaaaaaa. But oh hey the room is spinning. He closes his eyes to stop it]

Emil, did you really think that I was going to touch you lewdly while you're sick?

[ He laughs a little and puts his hand over the eyes. Shhh. Rest time. ]

Wh--no. That's not---

[ aaaaaaaa.

His brain wasn't even there but now he's even more embarrassed. He wiggles a little at the hand over his closed eyes. Heeey.]

[ Sinclair is so cute. Oria looks over at him fondly as he settles next to him, sitting up against the headboard of the bed and strokes his hair with the hand that covered his eyes. ]

I mean, if you're into that...

Said who...?

[ Sinclair turns his head into Oria's touch, trying to process. This bullying while he's sick...]

Everything hurts. I feel gross. And I thought I was supposed to nap.

You are! I was kidding. There's no way that I'd let you overwork yourself in this state.

[ True bullying. ]

[ Sinclair makes a sleepy aggrieved noise, even as he gets himself snug under the blankets]

You started it with weird comments...

Uh-huh.

[ Says Oria, the one who started it. He smiles at Sinclair, continuing to brush through his hair with his fingers. Would this be a head massage? He's trying to get him to be relaxed. ]

Either way, I'll keep being here beside you, unless I have to go somewhere. But I'll always come back to you.

[ It does feel like a massage and that feels like it's easing some of his headache. He closes his eyes and snuggles closer]

Mm...if you come back... then that's okay...

Yeah, so don't worry. You should rest well while you still can.

[ Before work grabs him to Seattle... He will continue the head massage until Sinclair falls asleep. ]

Being by your side is always nice. I hope you'll get well soon.

[ Sinclair makes a sleepy affirmative noise as he drifts off. Time to nap peacefully...]

[ True to his word, Oria stays on the bed by Sinclair's side. He's not the type that can sit still, so he uses his cell phone and DS, both on mute to keep himself busy.

If Sinclair shows any signs of having a nightmare, Oria will wake him. If not, he will be woke up for an early dinner around 5 PM. His coworkers have been contacted and Oria puts Sinclair's phone on silent too. Shhh. ]

[ Sinclair stirs awake at around five, bleary eyed and tired. But his fever has broken and he's just lethargic now. He had been napping in fits and starts, so he's not really well rested but he does press his face against Oria's thigh]

What time is it....?

[dissimulative]

[ Sinclair had been moving so much... Oria is a bit worried, but then Sinclair says something. He's finally awake... ]

Good morning~ It's 5 in the evening.

[ He puts down his gaming console and gently pats Sinclair's head. ]

Need another wipe down? Dinner should be coming soon.

[ Sinclair shakes his head and sits himself up to lean against Oria]

Mm... I'm fine for now...

[dissimulative]

You're not as warm. I'm glad.

[ Very glad. Oria quietly breathes out a sigh of relief. ]

Still need to take medicine after your dinner though. We're gonna beat back the sickness in full until there's nothing left.

[ Sinclair laughs, his voice still sore and scratchy]

You make it sound like a war.

[ But if he's not too warm, he can cuddle up with Oria without guilt]

It is! For your immune system! They were worn down by the terrible stressors, but they finally got their second wind and are fighting for their donut-shaped lives!

Also here. Water. Oria holds out a cup full of water to him. ]

[Sinclair tries not to laugh too much since it hurts his chest and accepts the water]

Why donut shaped?

Because red blood cells look donut shaped.

[ Oria even makes a 👌 gesture to show Sinclair. ]

They have a stronger role in the immune system than expected.

Uhuh...[Sinclair blinks. You know what, he never likened red blood cells to donuts before, but now that Oria puts it like that...]

I guess they do look like donuts...

[ Oria seems chipper about that as he drinks some of his own water. ]

They're fighting so hard to keep you healthy. How are you feeling now?

Better...I feel like I'm less cold. [And therefore less hot?]
