[ The master bedroom just has an empty shelf standing near the wall, a queen-sized bed, a desk, a desktop computer, chair... the semester hasn't started yet, so there aren't any textbooks in the room at the moment. ]
[ It might have seemed deep, but Oria just didn't feel like bringing all that with him. The era of PC gaming is here, so he's been working with that quite well. He needs to buy a PC-adapted controller at some point... ]
Yeah? Feel free to sit anywhere you'd like! Oh, but you'd probably have to tell your coworkers that you'll be coming back late, right?
(Sinclair can't judge because there's a game he's been waiting for Michel to finish himself)]
Ah, you're right. I probably should say something. [ He checks his phone to find some messages and quickly responds to one of them telling them he'd be back late, without specifying when.
[ Oria laughs a little as he leans into Sinclair too. He definitely has no plans to let Sinclair go out so late at night, so, really, there was only one option from the beginning. ]
[ Oria smiles as he returns the hug from the side. ]
You're so cute... I really can't believe I get to have you for pretty much an entire day! I feel like I went into withdrawal because I spent soooo many days with you in Fragment.
[ Hugging like this is uncomfortable, so Oria sits upright and pulls Sinclair over so that he can face him as Sinclair sits on his lap. Hehe. ]
Honestly, one of the good things that my family got out of the incident was looking into the extensive experience of virtual reality and funding someone who can try recreating it for our purposes. We are soooo poaching, but CC Corp is dead now, so who cares, really?
[And here he thought Oria was going to be sick of virtual reality like everyone else. Sinclair gives a tiny squeak of surprise as he's pulled over, but settles himself on Oria's lap, adjusting his arms so they're wrapped around Oria's shoulders]
Ah, so you did make use of all those servers after all.
Mm. Hopefully nothing like that happens again. [Two months recovery was hellish enough. His company was working on their own training simulator based off the data recovered, but...ughh]
[Sinclair snuggles into Oria a little more with a tiny satisfied huff. He doesn't doubt his workplace would be interested, but, still. He kisses Oria lightly]
Yeah? No wonder the old fogeys look like they're in a rush all the time.
[ Vindictive grin as always. Oria is satisfied when Sinclair snuggles into him some more. Apart from the environmental things that cling onto him, Sinclair always smelled nice when they cuddled like this. His body relaxes. ]
I feel like I don't have enough hours in a day to do everything I want. I'm not the kind of person to stay up late or wake up incredibly early either. I think my schedule is pretty normal in that regard.
[Sinclair nuzzles a little, breathing in Oria's scent happily. He likes Oria's scent; it's comforting, especially now that the hoodie he took from Oria no longer smelt like him.]
...you know, that was probably the more surprising thing I learned about you. You have a really standard sleep cycle even though you've been involved in all these business dealings since you were a kid.
[Sinclair had tendencies to want to push until later...]
Having a good amount of sleep is important for a variety of reasons, but the most important thing is keeping myself stable, and I can't do that if I'm irritated by sleeping too much or being out of it if I lack sleep. I do a lot to keep myself healthy and it helps me pace myself.
[ The time in Fragment was wild, because he lost track of his internal biological clock and all the mental interference was quite something. He's so glad to be back in control over his own body. ]
That's why whenever I hire people, I'll never let them forsake rest or force overtime as long as they bring good results. People need a work-life balance.

You really don't like decorating, huh?

[ The master bedroom just has an empty shelf standing near the wall, a queen-sized bed, a desk, a desktop computer, chair... the semester hasn't started yet, so there aren't any textbooks in the room at the moment. ]
But it's livable and that's what matters!
no subject
Mm. That's true. Everything seems comfortable anyway.
[ But not finding anything distinctly 'Oria' is a bit... maybe they need to go on more dates]
no subject
Yeah? Feel free to sit anywhere you'd like! Oh, but you'd probably have to tell your coworkers that you'll be coming back late, right?
[ With however Sinclair wants "late" to be. ]

Ah, you're right. I probably should say something. [ He checks his phone to find some messages and quickly responds to one of them telling them he'd be back late, without specifying when.
And he'll sit on Oria's bed. Comfy.]
no subject
[ Oria jumps on the bed beside Sinclair, making it bounce a little. ]
no subject
[ maybe he wont get attacked if he walks in late in the night? Morning. The bed bounces and Sinclair jumps a little and leans into Oria]
Hey.
no subject
[ Oria laughs a little as he leans into Sinclair too. He definitely has no plans to let Sinclair go out so late at night, so, really, there was only one option from the beginning. ]
Do you want anything? Water, tea, snacks...
no subject
[But he also just wants to stubbornly cuddle with Oria so he winds his arms around him to hug. Better]

[Oria, please. But he's happy to snuggle into Oria. He can't believe he got to have the whole day off either without any interruptions...]

[ Hugging like this is uncomfortable, so Oria sits upright and pulls Sinclair over so that he can face him as Sinclair sits on his lap. Hehe. ]

Ah, so you did make use of all those servers after all.
no subject
[ Well. The first prioritized reason, at least. The second was just because he wanted to play a cool new game for beta testing. ]
So it worked out for us in the end. The fact that we got to destroy the physical servers was a big plus.
no subject
That was a little fun...
no subject
[ Is that a joke? Or is he serious? Regardless, Oria seems pretty happy with himself. ]
That was done from intentional sabotage. Everything else was fine, wasn't it?
no subject
Mm. Yeah. It was.
no subject
[ lmao. Is he petty? Yeah, a bit. ]
I can't believe it's next week... so soon already.
no subject
I'll let her know she was requested.
[lol. well, he can tease her a bit too if he can get away with it. He sighs a little, resting his head against Oria's neck]
It seems like everything keeps moving quickly.
no subject
Yeah, time is always moving fast. It'll get even faster when we get older.
[ But will they live to be older? Oria hopes so. ]
no subject
[He snuggles into Oria a little more. He wasn't tired, but he feels warm and content when he's with Oria like this]
It does seem that way.
[It's something he wants to be able to look forward to]
Gregor is always complaining about the lack of time.

Sinclair looks up at Oria a little fondly and gives him a little cheek kiss]
Mm. So this is your work-life balance?
